The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
